Data Deletion

Last updated: June 28, 2026

BlinkLit is built so that your reading data stays with you. Most of it never reaches us at all. This page explains exactly what data exists, where it lives, and how to delete each kind — including the only piece we process on a server: the email tied to your Pro license.

1. Data on your device

Your library, reading progress, bookmarks, settings and appearance preferences are stored locally on your device. To delete all of it, uninstall the app — this removes every locally stored item immediately.

2. Google Drive sync data

If you turned on optional cloud sync, your data lives in your own Google Drive (under the drive.file scope, so only BlinkLit's own files). To delete it:

3. Your Pro license email (the only server-side data)

When you buy BlinkLit Pro, we store your email address on our licensing backend solely to issue and validate your license. This is the only personal data we hold. To have it permanently deleted:

Note: deleting your license email also deactivates the Pro license linked to it. Any purchase records required for tax or accounting are held by Google Play under its own policies, not by us.

4. Questions
